An extended holiday presents an opportunity to break with old habits and try new things. Interested in improving your fitness? Work with a personal trainer during your holiday, and you will emerge with a new regimen specifically suited to your needs. At Anassa, trainer Nikos Savva is available for a one-on-one consultation with you. You’ll start by answering a medical questionnaire, discussing your concerns and goals, and deciding on the number of sessions to pursue. If you have time for five or more sessions, Nikos will plan a full body workout regime targeting all muscle groups—upper body, core, and lower body. A typical plan starts with a warm-up and dynamic stretching, continues with a series of exercises using gym equipment, and ends with static stretching. Routines can be undertaken outdoors, in our indoor pool, and in our state-of-the-art gym; Nikos can train you to use the exercise machines and equipment. Supplementary classes in Pilates, core strength training, and high-intensity interval training are also available. Some of our guests enjoy personal training sessions in the privacy of their own villas. Nikos will bring equipment and coaching directly to you, and you can incorporate your private plunge pool into the workout session. If you and a partner would like to exercise together, he can develop routines that suit each individually and yet let you help each other.
